Dana Pensabene

As a teacher and a student, Dana is fascinated by the transformative nature of the practice. She’s enamored by how yoga can heal the body, bring clarity to the mind, move energy around, and evoke a desire to do and be a better human on this planet.

Dana found her daily yoga practice 10 years ago when she used it as a form of meditation, self-reflection, and therapy.

Today, Dana uses her practice and teachings to ground herself and challenge her body and mind.

Her studies to date have focused on Hatha Yoga via Modo Yoga and Vinyasa via Kula and Sarai. Her classes reflect these studies, pulling inspiration from Traditional Hot, Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Katonah.

She completed a 500-hour YTT with Modo Yoga, a 200-hour YTT with Sarai Yoga, a 75 Advanced Training with Kula, and graduated with certifications from IMX Pilates and the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.

Energized by yogic traditions and philosophy, Dana is eager to continue learning about the world of yoga.

She is excited, humbled, and honored by the opportunity to spread this sacred practice to others.
