Lakou Presents: My Black Is…Beautiful: Shā

Guided by Karine Plantadit, with a community mural by Beyond The Black Box and live music by Britton Smith, we close out this historic month knowing that the celebration of Black history, joy, and excellence continues forever. This final event is a tribute to that ongoing legacy.

At 3:00 PM, the evening begins. Add your voice and vision to a live community mural — a collaborative art piece inspired by everyone in the room, led by Beyond The Black Box. Throughout the afternoon, shop local venders and enjoy the sounds of Britton Smith.

At 4:00 PM, join Karine for Shā, a powerful fusion of yoga, dance, and mindful reflection to move your body and stir your spirit.

We'll close the evening by becoming part of the art itself — watching and weaving into a dance celebration with Beyond The Black Box.

This isn't just a finale. It's a vibrant, living homage to the past, present, and future.
