Melt Into Motion | A Nervous System Reset

Combining asana with various nervous system regulation techniques to melt you into your practice and melt the worries away.
TO MELT: We begin with breath awareness and nervous system reboot– exploring different forms of vagus nerve activation, self soothing, and pranayama. Both sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system reset.
SOMATICS: Next we prep the body- tying in various somatic elements like self massage, fascial release, and nerve flossing. Implementing each with care and consideration for how they work within a yoga practice.
TO MOVE: Lastly, we now give space to the body in motion by melding an invigorating vinyasa practice with qi gong. Together we breathe, sweat, and flow out what no longer serves us. Participants will leave feeling recharged and grounded, perhaps like they went on a journey of mind, body, and spirit.
The goal is to teach and supply tools outside the traditional yoga practice– enriching and supporting our student’s regular practice and giving them a kit to pull from as they continue to develop their own language between body and brain.
